Hi! My name Brian Ansel! I am a county mentor for Washington County Public Schools. I have been teaching for 15 years and I am entering my 10th year with WCPS. I have taught grades 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8! I also have experience as an Elementary Case Manager for Special Education and as a Lead Teacher. I earned my Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education from Salisbury University and my Masters of

Education from Wilmington University and Frostburg State University. I am currently working towards my Educational Doctorate of Education at Shenandoah University. I have also served as a Master Teacher for MSDE with the Educator Effectiveness Academy since 2012, teaching the Common Core State Standards. I want welcome you to Washington County Public Schools. Tina Caniford

Middle School Mentor

 

Hi! I’m Tina Caniford! I am a county mentor for Washington County Public Schools. I have 32 years of teaching experience, serving WCPS during my entire career. I have taught grades 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8. I have taught all core subjects in middle school. I have been a Student Achievement Specialist or Lead Teacher for the last 7 years. I earned by Associate of Arts Degree in Education at Hagerstown Junior College, and then I transferred to Salisbury State to complete my Bachelor of Science degree in Education. I completed my Master’s work at Western Maryland College in Psychology. I have served as a Master Teacher for MSDE with the Educator Effectiveness Academy since 2011, teaching the Common Core State Standards. I want welcome you to Washington County Public Schools. Curriculum and Instruction at Shippensburg University and my Administration Certificate 1 from
